There are an estimated 350 million slaves in the world today, while 1% of the population owns 99% of everything including enough weapons to destroy the entire world perhaps a hundred times over. The single most popular request the white house has received is for a Star Wars style Death Star to be built, weapons are the single largest manufactured export of the largest exporter in the world, while it is now illegal to vote for Mickey Mouse, our glorious leader hasn't paid taxes in over twenty years, and just cut the mass media a deal on their rent.

Same old same old, go back to sleep.

    "laziness"
(in the form of finding easier ways of doing things, not the form of getting someone else to do them.
these are really two entirely different things that ought to be known by entirely different names)
is the REAL "mother of invention".

the only thing "necessity" ever gave birth to was a miscarriage named frustration.

(oh why do i come here to preach? because i'm too thin skinned paranoid to get into real politics and lack the instincts and skills for it anyway)

In many cases, yes. Paranoia is delusional or irrational thought. If you're capable of rational thought and simply unwilling to do the work of collecting some basic information and then using inductive or deductive reasoning, then it's laziness. If you're not capable of rational thought, then it isn't.

In other words, believing whatever stray thought pops into your mind at the moment, including paranoid ones, is being lazy, unless that's the actual limit of your capability.

Imagining that "economic interests" should care about you is pretty lazy, unless that's as far as your thought process can get. Do you really believe that a large corporation headquartered in another country should mention caring about you, by name, in its annual report to shareholders? That would indeed be lazy of you.

What holds us back in life isn't all the love we didn't get from others, but rather all the love we're not extending to others right now. Don't hold yourself back.

Gotta disagree with you if you have been out of the country in some of the worlds worst places or have been screwed over and over by 'life long' friends. You learn paranoia is your friend, its not laziness at all.
