A pedophile is simply (and sickly) someone who DESIRES children. This is a societal no-no and an unhealthy desire. They are not "retarded" (mental disorder) they are simply a different class of mental disorder or behavioral perhaps.

However, many pedophiles (look it up) do not ACT on these desires.

The Devil (no such thing) didn't put these thoughts into the heads of these people. They didn't just wake up and decide to lust after children, dude. Something inside them gives them this urge.

Desiring to have sex with little girls (for example) is not something that can be helped or controlled by large cages and bars.

The Acting OUT of those desires constitutes a step beyond thinking and feeling and thus requires a counter-action.

Pedophilia is an uncontrollable (at least without help) desire.

Molestation is a controllable act.
