Is it disrespectful to go to the dentist in flip flops?

So I have an appointment next week I want to go in flip flops is it disrespectful has any of you guys done it ?

 

Only if you know your dentist has a problem with it.

No. No more disrespectful than the dentist making you wait an hour past your appt because his staff overbooked him.

But no, if your feet are clean. I think if your feet are dirty, then yes.

And...if he/she keeps you waiting and is far from running on time for your appt, you have my permission to take off the flip fops, and go barefoot

 

its just a dentist...who cares what they think theyre supposed to be working on your teeth not on your feet

 

I’m okay lol that seems a little rude but it is rude to wait that long

 

Where I live flip flops are the norm so going to the dentist wearing them is no big deal. I had an appointment three weeks ago and I wore my hippie buffalo sandals. I now only wear sandals to the dentist as I'm more relaxed with my feet set free. I doubt they pay any attention to my feet.

Years ago when I was shy about my feet, that would have been hard to do that, but now now. If no longer fearful of anyone seeing my feet and toes.

 

For real though, just go barefoot. My dentist doesn't care at all. And that's the answer you were looking for from this forum anyway, right?
