Is it better to be horizontal than vertical?

they both have thier ups and downs, but overall the sideways motions become unparalleled.

i would hate to be stuck with either one without the option of the other.

 

context is everything. but there is more to see horizontally then vertically. at least of things i'm interested in seeing and looking at.
my monitor is landscape rather then portrait mode. so for that matter, is my mind.

virtical is all about brave and gung ho. rp gamers are welcome to that.
but it gets in the way more then benefits, any and all of the things i really enjoy.

of course, being bipedal as a species, (even the alien/anthro forms i invision myself as being),
we move about in virtical format. and i'm certainly fine with moving about,
but i also enjoy being able to move about while sitting, in or on, some mechanical object,
that moves itself, and me riding on or in it, under its own power.

and the aesthetic of such objects is also horizontal

trees are virtical of course, but other green living things are both.
and little furry, feathery, scaley living things, with four on the floor,
are generally of horizontal aspect as well.
