Is "heterosexual pride day" really necessary?

A previous postee makes such a good point. When gays profess their love of gay sex they are worshipped and emulated. When a "talented" woman announces her love of sex she is dubbed a "slut". Hmmmmm.

When talking political issues with a gay person ; why do they constantly try to steer the conversation to their sexual desires? "Straights" / "Breeders" would be persecuted for harassing under such circumstances. More double standards.

Really? Everyday? You are out of your mind. Women are still not marketed to in the western porn industry because we wouldn't watch it. Yet we have romance novels so we can read about a woman getting kidnapped and forced to like sex with her abductor.

So it's ok for men to watch porn, but I should go hang my head in shame for doing the same thing the men do? RIIIIGHT. Well, screw the static quo, I watch porn, I read porn, I love porn, and my vagina has not evaporated because of it.

'It's a protest against the privileges the gay community enjoys.'

How could anyone possibly think that gay people are privileged?

Oh. Well if that's the reasoning, I don't like that party anymore. They can keep their parade.

The pride parade was started after the stonewall riots. When gay people were forced to be ashamed. I don't think there will ever be a hetero pride parade but I figured mardi gras covered that.
