A quick and easy rule is that if you feel the need to ask "Is it cheating?" there's a very good chance that your partner will think it is. "Your partner" includes both the long term partner, being cheated on, and the temporary partner. being cheated with.
I thought dry humping was for teenagers. Adults really do that shit? Either way, whether or not it's cheating depends on the limitations you've set with your partner. There's no blanket rule on what's cheating and what's not.
I won't say that adults do that shit normally but it's happened to me as an adult when play fighting with another adult. I wasn't in a relationship at the time and it was like a victory thing on his part. He had a girl friend but they weren't serious at the time on either part when he did it. They are serious now and whether he told her or not I don't know but I don't think in our case it was cheating, it was more a game kinda thing between two adults who trusted each other. We were quite playful when we got drinking, it was fun and even rough sometimes, we would even get hurt slamming each other into walls and trying to toss each other down and pin the other down, much like wrestling, yup I am like a kid I guess but drinking does that to me sometimes. We enjoyed each others company and could talk about anything so it was probably a slight attraction thing to some point but we never did do anything real like removing clothing and sex, except when the odd shirt got lifted or torn in the fight or one got pantsed. One time that I got dry humped was when we were outside I threw a bottle of pop at him and started to run for the road when I seen the look in his eye. He caught me and dragged me to the water hose on the lawn and after he completely soaked us both in the struggle he tossed me down on the grass and dry humped me on my ass and then smacked my butt yelling at me to scream "No master No!" and I wouldn't do it because that was me admitting his win. Now I have a BF so it had to stop (he knows about it) and it did stop but while I was single that shit was fun. He was a lot taller and heavier then I was and it was awesome making him fight hard to win but he did usually win. One time I kicked him in the knee, he laughed, winked at me with a Mmmmhmmmm and then came at me then it hit him, he was injured and he dropped, rolled around on the floor laughing and prit near crying, it was my only win and it took him a couple days to finally get over it. I couldn't see it in me to do what he would do after winning since he really was hurt,,, but I was proud of myself,,, hahaha Ya gotta try play fighting with a big guy if you are single and just want to have fun as long as he doesn't take advantage of you and make you do something both aren't consenting to. He was much younger then me but I had it in me to challenge him well even if I lost most of the battles. Some of our battles were long and he admitted I tired him out to the point I nearly won a few times. I always hope I would but not where he was injured, I would have humped him soooo bad.
So to the question, is it cheating? Probably, I wouldn't do it now that I have a BF and we are serious and he wouldn't like to think I would and promptly said so.
