ive smoked a good amount of bud in my time.. and never have i seen a baggie with brown weed in it... does this mean it is not cured??.. my weed is usually darkish green or somthin but.. is brown weed cured weed??..is brown even good?
Brown weed is usually crappy schwag. I've never seen brown cured weed. The browness is caused by poor growing environment, dried too long, compressed into bricks and was likely sitting around somewhere for many many months. Don't buy brown weed. And don't eat yellow snow.
thats what i thought.. but is the weed supposed to look much different from drying it after you cure it? and how do u cure it?.. will it give me more sales?? and more potentcy?...btw...this is a little off topic.. my plants are growin perfect until today when i checked it.. the tips of like 3 leaves were turnin brown and there were some spots.. i touched it and it was brittle.. so i ripped off the brown parts thinkin it was a disease or bacteria.. would any of you happen to know wtf was happenin?!?!
back in the day we lived close to Mexico and got alot of "dirt weed" that had probly been smashed in with thousands of others in burlap bags and the bags were all smas h e d ..... uh well you get the idea!
Curing pot takes at least 2 weeks to accomplish, but 4 weeks is much much better. Curing makes pot taste great, smell heavenly, burn clean clean and evenly, and increases potency by about 30%. I've smoked weed that was cured for 2 years, it was smooth as silk. There are threads in this forum that describe how to cure. And yeah, you can sell the weed for 30% more. Losing fan leaves (getting dry & brittle & falling off) is normal for flowering weed, especially in the last few weeks.
i know, i am just saying it's possible to get good brown. But 99% of the time these days brown = schwiggs.
brown weed is most likely dried outdoors in the direct sun light i went to amsterdam for the second time a few weeks ago and had some shit brown nasty looking weed from jamaica supposedly and it was some of the best i had over there so dont judge it on its color alone.
