Exactly! Me neither! That's what I wish more people could see..both believers in God and non-believers.

I guess what I see as accepting certain tenets as part of my belief system means that I live my life by certain convictions. For many years I didn't, but eventually, one ultimately has certain convictions they use to lead their life. These convictions determine how I treat other people, how I spend my money, how I make money, how I react to pain and injustice in the world...etc.

OLD SCHOOL CHRISTIANITY: young earth, days were days, old and new testament inerrant-literal, and god is monotheist (triune) male.

NEW-SCHOOL CHRISTIANITY: old earth, days were "periods", old testament is not important, new testament is semi-important (only words of Christ in red), and god is "ultimate reality" (a pantheistic, de-personalized force).

    FUTURE-SCHOOL CHRISTIANITY: *deleted*

Little by little, science, more applicable knowledge and discovery are scattering the myths of old and Christians are back-peddling into agnostic stances of "God", metaphoric stances, cherry-picking "versions" of "God", etc.

Little by little, the walls of slavery-anity will crumble. PRAISE BOG!!!
