    Hi everybody!
I am looking for natural ways to calm down the irritable bowel syndrom, I think some purge is necessary, do you have some suggestions about what to do to cool down that syndrom?

I agree with r0llin, change your diet.

If i remember correctly, Magnesium is really good for helping to move things along, as it is a natural muscle relaxant.

One of those ones were damage from another source causes the actual 'disease' later on

More about your diet when you were a teen than now, or bouts of bacterial infections at different periods of your life.

Those infections fuck up the links between your colon and brain, the real reasons for the trouble .

No 'natural' food is going to magically repair those nerves

Stop eating refined sugar for a week or two and see how that works.

I Take One "Gastro-Stop" Tab Each Morning, But Since It Most Likely Marketed

Under A Different Brand Name In Your Country One Tab Contains.......

    Loperamide Hydrochoride 2mg.

No Script Needed And You Can Take Up To A Max Of 8 Tabs In 24 Hours.

    Hope This Helps..... :toilet:

    Cheers Glen.

Start taking a diary and note what you eat and what the trigger foods are. I also suffer IBS and I've just learned to cut out what make it flare. I've also been taking fibre supplements and apple cider vinegar and can say they've done wonders with my stomach.

Aloe Vera water for enzymes can help too.
I also remember taking a green mint capsule prior to meals which calmed the urges of the digestion.

Gotta make sure to keep that stuff in an air tight sealed container. I had some in my cupboard and pantry moths found it and laid hella eggs, and the eggs turned into grub. I was not happy the night I found that situation, let me tell you.

As far as I know it would be good to limit dietary fiber and instead take a fiber supplement.

It's amazing. A doctor told my mother about taking Metamucil for diarrhea. It works.

Also, hubby says his mother would take Metamucil anytime she ate something with little seeds and they wouldn't bother her.

I've tried that and it works!
