Kind of but not accurately... kind of like trying to imagine brain surgery or rocket science.

you can never know how accurately you are imagining something until you are proven wrong.

so i say why not use imagination as motivation, it may do the human race good if we start trying to work the brain in new ways, and strengthen the muscle.

facts are good, but imagination should never die.

plus who knows how many of our so called "facts" may be disproven in time (ok that was just a wandering thought, feel free to disregard)

vibes, i respectfully disagree that the media benefits us

i looked at a tv screen for a couple minutes the other day and it looked so bizarre. do people realize what it's doing to them.. especially the news. hell i'm programmed to laugh and cry at shit on tv and i can admit that but look at the news.. it's just a fuckin joke.

sure, because things cannot keep going like this forever. let's look at just a few factors.. communication and production. the enormous growth of these is mind blowing and earth isn't going to support it for long. do you really see modern society as equally sustainable as it has been 100, 500, 1000, 5000 years ago?

i'm not one for fearmongering, i just wish more people would buy less into the systems of politics and celebrity and consumerism and etc.. all of it is total shit whether or not the earth (or sun or space rocks etc) devours it all someday.

human history is so small compared to this planet history and our egos are way too big at this point.

impossible to imagine unless you are easily satisfied with shallow waters, and i mean that with respect to everyone here..
it goes beyond "human capability" it's about the perception of this universe, the farthest i can imagine is a brain at 100% function is no longer a human brain.
    :)

i see what you are saying, the only thing that is important about the media is learning about things that aren't going on in our area. yeah i definitely understand what you are saying, and i realize we are rarely hearing the whole truth. in addition we are only told what they (who ever releases updates to the AP) want the large populace to know.

i appreciate hearing about what's going in the world and i take it for what it is, news with slant.

cycles amidst chaos (or maybe the chaos is a misperception)
but yes cycles are everywhere and endless

    Why all the fuss?
Apophis is gonna give us a whallop in 2029 or maybe 2036.

Now that will be a game changer for sure.
    (if it hits)

i have been living life like this since early May, and it has completely changed me, my outlook, and my own personal life (and perhaps some of my friends/family, but i doubt it)

we are one with Gaia, an interconnectedness, i feel for her and am a part of her

I absolutely agree. I just don't think anything will happen as quickly as one to two years. However, I could very well be wrong and you could be right. Only time will tell. I will say that i'm pretty positive something is definitely going to happen in my lifetime.

I for one wish the earth and universe would devour celebrities and politicians. The human race likes to thinks of itself as something important, but we're really so small in the grand scheme of things.

The microcosm within the macrocosm. I could think about this subject for hours.... we are just sooo small....and there are still things way smaller than us.
