I didn't get the impression they murdered them, I think most just died of disease or malnutrition (keep in mind ireland was very much a third world country at this time and these children were at the bottom of the totem pole) and they didn't believe in giving children out of wedlock proper burials so they just created a mass grave for them.
True, but I heard they were experimented on with new vaccines, etc. Is that true? We know they were rented out to work in dangerous factory conditions. One also wonders what kinds of sexual abuse these children who were considered sub-human by the Catholic Church were subjected to by priests and nuns, or whoever had some money and knew where to find kids. Remember what Jesus said about hanging a mill stone around the necks of those who abuse children and throwing them into the sea?
