^great isea. and drew what empire we simplely need to know whats going on so we dont get stabbed in the back again. how would you like it if we get bombed in your home town cuz we didnt know what was going on. we cant back down or else we are weak, and obama and everyone else who wants to just cut and run is weak. and soldlers dont even waht to leave. most are reenilisting becasue they know it is a fight that needs to happen.

    This thread is retarded. Period.

All of America's problems are almost directly caused by its interventionist foreign policy...

lol agreed, fucking stoners pretendin to be warlords lmao.

yes we should nuke the whole of middle east, so we get rid of the most common terror threats, bring out nuclear winter, bring earth out of its rotatory course - flying off into some direction off the milky way.

i dont get why doesnt any one want to use proton bombs, i mean - its queter, cleaner, and much more environmentaly friendly < yet still same bang and same casualties.

Haha, indeed! Although it's nice to see what opinions you guys have, most of it is pretty silly to be honest.

    Like the one after 1945?

    wrong.

tv's were black and white, now theyre 70+ inch HD, people fantasized about space, now they fantasize about whats beyong space.

nuclear bombs used were 10 - 20 kiloton, now theyre in the thousands.

    technology gets better with age.

what you think all that invested money was just there for partying since work was finished during ww2?

Ok, to be fair, they were talking about nuking the entire Middle East and for that to be effective at all you would need to kill every man, woman and, child(Or else they'll come back to try and kill you. Something called "consequences" or "blowback"). The two inefficient and crude bombs from the 40's won't be able to effectively bring about a nuclear holocaust.

So yeah, if you really wanted to annihilate the Middle East you'd have to deal with a massive radioactive fallout and most likely a nuclear winter. Not to mention all our precious oilfields would be covered with radiation.

...or you could treat people like people, not obstacles in your pursuit of perfect security.

edit - mr green beat me to it...

High Times w Kumar- You really sound like a proper dumbshit 16 y/o who doesn't have a fucking clue what he is talking about, just spouting tired lies and propaganda... Attitudes like yours are the reason most of the world hates the US, it's not just the middle east- america (as an entity, not necessarily americans) is despised by most europeans, asians, africans, latin americans too.

Nonsense- Israel wouldn't have time, it would be wiped off the planet in a 2 minutes- it's barely bigger than New Jersey FFS, it's tiny...

Iran have been saying Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth for years, it's nothing new and it is for the most part rhetoric. The Iranians and the arab world are fundamentally opposed to the racist apartheid state of Israel so have to have something to rant about, much like our own politicians ranting about bombing Iran. And on the nuclear front, Israel never signed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty and Iran have. Besides, if we're going to have nukes why can't other people? If Iran had nuclear weapons and the US didn't don't you think the US would want to develop them?

It's Iranian you moron. For someone who knows so much about the situation you don't even know what the inhabitants of the country are called.

We're paying the equivalent of $12+ in the UK and not crying..

There were no terrorist attacks before the war either apart from 9/11- Three thousand fucking people, big fucking deal, it stinks of burning the Reichstag to me anyway. It is nothing on the amount of innocents US imperialism has killed post 1945. All on their own soil. Murderers. And, erm, testing nuclear weapons on a civilian population is just a bit naughty (Hiroshima was completely unnecessary). Wake up, this shit happens everywhere all the time and often by the hands of your government so to be all crybaby when someone gives you a tiny fraction of your own medicine is pathetic.

America in its current form has never had a proper war anyway- you know, one where your civilians are getting bombed and all, as pretty much every other country on the planet has. The only 'wars' you get involved in are to protect US capitalist interests or to overthrow a government (often democratically elected ones that pose no threat to the US people only to US business interests) and to make a bit of wonga sacrificing the pawns who sign up to protect but are used by the government to make a profit while not protecting the country at all- making the situation worse if anything..

Ahhh, the classic defence line. Criticise Israel? 'YOU NAZI, ANTI-SEMITE, YOU HATE JEWS.' I have plenty of Israeli friends- I've just been off travelling with an Israeli the last 3 weeks, my ex girlfriend of 3 years was an Israeli citizen.
    People are not their governments.
I can hate the state of Israel, Zionism and Jewish apartheid without being an anti semite. Anyway, I dislike all Abrahamic religions equally (btw the word 'semitic' actually could mean a lot of peoples, including arabs, go look it up)...

Ever thought we might be the most common terror threat to the security of the world...

    Nail on the head.

A good starting place might be this book that I read some time ago though it may be more useful to americans than to me, I bought it because Chomsky recommend it, the book explains the massive fantasy many americans have with their perception of their country's actions and the rest of the world's perception. Remember there are 6 billion people on this planet, the world doesn't revolve around one country. Hell, PM me your address Kumar and I'll send you my copy if the postage isn't too much (it is a bit tatty and mouldy though)... http://www.amazon.com/Why-Do-People-Hate-America/dp/0971394253

I believe that letting Iran develope WMD, is a good thing. Could shift power there, But WGAF, We (usa) should let them handle their own affairs. Iran not having a nuke it just gets bullied.
Them having Nukes Really wouldnt cause anything to really change unless they test it, Use it ect. They do have 8th largest army, and holding..
No new growth in numbers yet
Iran suffered severe losses from the use of Iraqi chemical weapons over the period 1982 to 1988. As a consequence Iran has a great deal of experience of the effects of chemical warfare.
Usa is building up Iraq. So Why shouldnt Iran have the right to defend itself.
Anyone can remember Pakistan when they tested its Nuclear weapon.
I wasnt alive during Sputnik but it sure had that same feel. "ohh we're so scared now" Big deal they have Nuclear weapons. Only a foolish nation would attempt to use such a thing only to be attacked conventionally by every other nation in the world.
No other nation would counter attack with a nuclear weapon.
(one) Iran or anyother Rouge nations weapon would be of a low yield.
Its detenation would have to be precise to inflict the most damage.
Iran having Nukes and United States attacking them.. JOKE OF THE DAY..
Sanction BFD. Iran can support itself.
Olli Heinonen, the IAEA’s deputy director general, showed diplomats highlights of the “laptop documents” along with information from other countries and the agency’s own investigations about Iran’s studies of how to make a nuclear warhead.
The designs, he concluded, had no other use than the development of a nuclear weapon. He also emphasized, according to notes acquired by The Times, that the agency could not conclude whether Iran ever produced weapons, or even if the data on the laptop was genuine.
What changed people’s minds is “the fact that Iran has not come clean, has not admitted to the work that the NIE stated had been carried out,” said Khalilzad.
Those lingering doubts about Iran’s intentions, along with concessions in the resolution and lobbying by European countries, especially France, helped corral Security Council members into a near-consensus, said diplomats. Russia demanded that Iran be given a face-saving way forward and recognition of its efforts to cooperate with the IAEA.
“For us, this has been a package deal,” said Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin, referring to the added incentives, which he deemed as important as the sanctions. “We are not talking about the end of the game, we are talking about the start of the game.”

BTW, they were testing long range missiles.

Most importantly, the memories of the eight-year war with Iraq are still vivid in the minds of Iranians and Tehran is very concerned about the re-emergence of Iraq as a rival military power in the region and ( sees itself as Baghdad’s) main target.
Given its weak economic situation and growing population, Iran is not able to modernize its depleted and ageing conventional forces.
Certainly Iran cannot compete, at least in number and quality, with the air-forces of even small Arab Gulf states. A good example in this discrepancy would be the United Arab Emirates with which Iran has a territorial dispute and which, among other sophisticated military equipment, recently has ordered eighty F-16s with the most advanced equipment.
Iran’s relationship with Pakistan has deteriorated both because of the anti-Shiite activities in Pakistan, but most importantly, over Islamabad’s policies in Afghanistan. As a result, relations between the two countries are unstable. Tehran is also sensitive to Pakistan’s military power, especially its nuclear weapons.
Turkey’s NATO membership and its close strategic alliance with Israel are interpreted by Tehran as potential threats.
Possession of missiles has become a source of prestige for many states and some have used the promise of eliminating some of their missile programs as political bargaining chips.

Unless I completely missed something, Iran did not launch a single missile with a nuclear warhead. They have developed a new ballistic missile with a range of 1250 km.

I can't take it anymore so I'm just going to say it. Unless you have something of value to contribute to a thread, GET OFF THE INTERNET. Your pointless threads and poorly written posts are usually equivalent to spam.
