Ten yrs seems like a long time though or are we 3 yrs over our life expectancy anyway, so really it is more like 7yrs. IMO, Israel would not even hesitate to Nuke Iran if the US washed its hands of "backing." So maybe the US has a little influence over Israel, for now.

Long gone is the respect the USA has had, they are going into mediocrity. Adding to the point now that Obama is cutting the Army down, now and in these times. Don't cut the Full Time Army, simply remove yourself from some of these countries, rest and regroup for the future idiocy of the world, or aliens, which ever comes first. Alternatively give all returning Army, automatic reserve status, a guarentee of not going to war again BUT to remain a reservist for the security of the borders
