Inviting neighbors for nude pool party.

Has anyone sent out formal or semi-formal invitations to neighbors for an announced nude pool party? Neighbors could mean direct abutters or those abutting them. They don't necessarily have to know prior to your invitation that you are nudists. They also could invite one family out of their friends to encourage participation. (Or maybe those you work with, if you're more adventurous.)

 

Yes I have invited neighbours over for summer garden & pool parties, always just send via email, everyone knows the parties are clothing optional, I think it's important to tell/remind people of that before they arrive though, just a courtesy thing. Always happy if they want to bring some other friends or family over, I usually just ask for numbers so I can cater for food and drink.

 

Getting an invite to a nude pool party must feel like receiving an acceptance letter from Hogwarts.

We've had pool parties here where it just happened that everybody got naked.

 

I would enjoy being invited to a nude pool party. I use to have an above ground pool and would swim nude at night. One neighbor would swim nude with me but she moved away again to a warmer state.

 

They are great fun, and most all get naked

 

It generally helps a lot when the wife is the first one nakd

 

My wife would be the second.

 

Once she gets naked, the guys will follow every time. Then the females will at first go topless with us but they eventually get fully naked too

 

I wish I had neighbors like that - however I have been wondering about my neighbor behind us. She's an attractive older woman who lives with her BF, no kids. She's got a private backyard with a pool. My wife & kids went over there for a swim last summer, but I was away for work. I've seen pics of her place & it looks real nice.

Something in the back of my mind is wondering if she might be a nudist as well. If I had that kind of backyard & no kids, I'd be out there nude as much as I could. But how do you breach that subject with someone if you're not sure? If they're not nudists, it could be uncomfortable every time you see them. OTOH if they were, it could be great to have some new friends to share that interest with, without having to travel to a resort or out-of-town vacation place. I'm hoping we get a pool invite from her this summer, you never know what might come up in conversation.

 

Bring it up jokingly and see where it goes from there.

 

I have this running thing in my head that if people have their own pool and they DON'T swim naked, they are lying about it because doesn't EVERYONE with their own pool swim naked? The thing is to get them to admit to it and then invite people over. I hear stories all the time about how easy it is to get friends and neighbors to swim naked if you have a pool or go naked in a hot tub...even people you wouldn't expect to do it in a million years. But I have never seen it happen nor know anyone personally that has done it.

I think at this point I will end every post with "I need new friends".

 

As I previously mentioned I often invite people over for parties, some nude some clothing optional, agree with above yes it can be surprising who will sometimes get nude that I didn't expect to. Seems to be that when in the company of others in the nude some will try it out and then not even bother bringing swimwear next time.

Isn't that a bit like saying be careful if you get in a car because it might crash or don't visit anyone's house because it might catch fire?

Life is full of risks. I will continue to enjoy pool parties whenever I get the chance.

 

Not a pool party, but we have had neighbors over at a party while some of your swinger friends where over. Nothing too crazy, but they did see some things that made them a little uncomfortable.
