    Hi, I'm bblue. I'm lesbian, 37 years...
Just became single few days ago after almost 10 years of relationship. And since this ex used to be the only person that I would chat with, I feel that I need to distract myself in a forum or meet new ppl just to read/chat. And not be so sad/lonely.
    So hi

Hi and welcome! Sorry the relationship came to an end. I hope it ended amicably, not that it would necessarily be be a silver bullet. Make yourself at home as it were.

erzebet started this thread back in 2007. She has been off since 2017--I hope she is well and still around--somewhere.:):)

  20. don’t be mad please but I am bi. The reason why I want to respond to this Lesbian forum is because I want to share specifically my lesbian side.
    I don’t have a lot of experience with women…
I’ve been with men most of my dating life but there has always been this little voice telling me in the back of my mind that a woman would be better for me. I’ve been disappointed by men for many many years.. but the few women I tried to have something with also very much disappointed me.
I am a people pleaser and typically I have had people take advantage of that and never return the favor. I’m talking about in the bedroom as well.
Women excite me a thousand times more than men and I feel a thousand times more confident with a woman. Physically I feel women understand each others flaws and I’ve had different men tell me what they prefer about how I trim my pubic hair and it disgusts me. How can a man who doesn’t ever try to please you sit there and have an opinion on your body?? anyways.. women in my opinion are more attractive. A compliment from a woman is more meaningful to me.
My trans brother has dated lots of women before he became trans and he struggled a lot being on the same page with women. I also have struggled a bit being on the same page as women. For example, a girl I was interested in who was also interested in me, ghosted me because she thought she wanted to be with her ex boyfriend.. I’ve dated a lot more men than women and I’ve never been ghosted by a man.
It really effected how I see dating women. Everything was great and fine and suddenly she was ignoring me. I also feel like women are harder to please.. and they don’t appreciate effort from you as much as men. But writing this I know I am probably wrong. I haven’t had enough experience to know. So I apologize..
I’ve known I liked women since I was 11. The type of women I like are feminine. I am also very feminine and I like feminine qualities. Curves, long hair, feminine style, etc. and I see a lot of lesbian couples that have one more masculine and one more feminine. Like one has short hair and dresses more masculine and one has longer hair and dresses more feminine.
Maybe I am ignorant but that surprises me. I would think women who like women would want feminine partners. Instead of having one who is more masculine. I am not judging those who are more masculine but personally, to like women, I prefer women who are womanly.. feminine. And I appreciate and adore feminine women.
I know what I am saying is probably controversial and I am sorry if I offended anyone. I am not judging any of you! But what I like and how I view women is a feminine woman. So that is what I like and appreciate.
I am open to something different. There could be a masculine woman out there who rocks my boat and I would be open to that. I have no right to judge or push anyone away.
I am 33 years old. I’ve been a caregiver and dog groomer/ kennel manager most of my life. I am compassionate, unique, beautiful, creative.. it’s safe to say I love who I am. And I’d love to meet a woman who sees the beauty I see in myself and appreciates my efforts.
I am currently with a man who does not have a job and hasn’t for over 4 years.. I’ve been living as an in home caregiver for 3 years and am not paid a dime. I’ve been relying on his help from his military pay to get me through.. I’ve broken up with him because he wouldn’t get a job..
and years ago I asked him if I could have a girlfriend! He said yes.. but once he discovered this girl didn’t want to have sex with him too he got offended.
I think he isn’t the right one.. but I know that I am beautiful inside and out and that maybe there is a woman out there who will appreciate me and love me like I love. and if you have pink hair it’s an added bonus! Haha! A color I have never dyed mine but always wanted to ;)
I am 5’9” curvy, long brown and dark teal hair, a few tattoos and a few piercings. I love to sing, I’m artistic, I love nature, I’m open to new experiences, I love anime and games, and I love to laugh and be goofy.
I KNOW I am a total package. I have drive to improve myself and be a good person. And love is the most important thing to me. I want to marry the right person and never look back.
but tell me.. is my experience with women just a small dose of reality or am I wrong? Are women harder to date??
I don’t know what to do now.. but what I do know is that if my boyfriend doesn’t get it together, I will need to try something new. And that is dating women exclusively because I am tired of men disappointing me.
this is all kind of new to me.. has anyone ever been through something similar? Is it me??? Or are women harder to date?
    im a baby lesbian haha
