that's actually crazy because i had a little talk with my boss after work tonight, and he's considering promoting me to a supervisor... it's between me and one other guy right now, but the other guy has been there a lott longer than i have...

Its so insane, the other few superviors have been there forever before they got promoted.. yet i just started working here 2 months ago, yet i'm already training people (started training a new guy today) and getting offered a supervisors position, kind of over whleming... If i take the position its mainly because of the raise lol... If i get it, that's cool and would be awesome... but if not, i'm also fine with that.. the other guy deserves it more than i do i think

but the boss really likes me and thinks i'm a good worker, i don't stand around and talk like all the others.. he tells me a bunch of stuff to do and i just get it done

Me and another both got the promotion.. i work mainly nights and she does mornings.. so we finally have a daytime and night time managers in the kitchen.. which was badly needed.. well not really since we both already did the work.. it's nice to have the title and more cash.. on that note.. she's been working there for like 12 years.. i've been there for 4... and there are others that have been there well longer than me.. the 2 other cooks that are still around since i started working have been there for like 8 and 10-12 years.. it's not always how long you've been somewhere.. it's how well you get shit done... at my job previous to this one.. i was kitchen manager after a year of working there

i just used my grandsons sock to make a bandage to try and set a broken leg on a kitten....had to bury another yesterday....very sad accident involving an automobile...
