intern position open

Hey everybody, this is my first post and actually my first time on a message board like this. Needless to say, my mind is being blown (in the best possible sense hah). I really had no idea about the exchange and flow of opportunities going around when it comes to communal living until I decided to join this site. I'm a 22 year old young man who has basically grown up extremely well-off and privileged, but I have never really felt comfortable doing the restaurant waiter gig, and going out to bars with all the college kids, ect. I've always seemed to be most content and happy and thriving when I'm out in nature or sitting on the porch reading Edgar Lee Masters or W.H. Auden (something not a single one of my friends would ever be caught dead doing. Reading!?? How dare you? Let's go pound some Yuengling!). Anyways, I really feel like I'm not getting any younger, and that the opportunity for me to live a life I truly love, and not just a mechanized and dull existence, is slowly but surely fading.
I grew up a spoiled kid, and in some ways I still am, but there is a strong and determined feeling in me that given the chance to live a communal life with some of these smart, resourceful, and beautiful people, I could learn endless amounts and be content. If anyone has any suggestions or tips as to how to go about either finding a communal site or, for you specifically dilligaf, what is the best way to get in contact with you or a recommendation to see if I can't get my boogie on and finally start this little (big) trek of mine. Thanks for playing along guys, even if no one can help, it still felt really cathartic to write all this. who would of thought ha.

i'm actually looking to do something exactly like this, i was gonna head over to vermont or colorado but i remember having a conversation with you years ago i was probably 15 or 16.....don't be bothered if you can't remember but it was one of those insightful ones and can remember it changing my outlook on something. It's a little far away to remember exactly, but point is i would love to head on over and help not only as thanks but as proof of the synchronicity of the universe.

Wax~~ hey girl!! of course i remember you:sunny:.. we have actually got someone coming mid April but if you are still interested and dont mind campin or sharin a shack you are more than welcome to come spend a spell with us.. The way I look at it is the more help we get the more we can do.. the more we can do the more we can help ourselves and help others yadda yadda..
