You do not know the truth about God, or you would not speak as you do. From this argument, all reality is religion because it has a creator. Actually, there are definites in religion, you just don't know them. You are like a fundamentalist arguing against the existence of chromosomes because the bible doesn't say something specific about chromosomes. Science attempts to describe the fundamental principles of the universe. If it ignores God's existence, how can it describe these principles? They will eventually know the truth anyway, but it is easier from them to learn it at an early age. It's just a nice thing to do for people.
no "pagan" belief i have heard of, most bairly touch on the creation of the universe, instead focusing on the more relavent mater of day to day living. does seem to be comman dogma amoung the establishments religons. and things are only complicated when you dont understand them, and schools should teach "we dont realy know anything but this seems plausable but is probaly wrong like we most always have been"
i went to a Catholic high school. now, when i took biology in 10th grade, we never even studied anything about creationism, ID, or anything near that. we studied Biology, not anything with a religious tint to it. now, when we had religion class, thats were we learned, discusssed and did other such things that dealt with creationism, ID and other things. we never included it in biology and it was a religious school. and to put both into the study of biology is wrong.
