genius is the *source* of knowledge .. intellectual property I personally think every human being is "genius", having unique knowledge that only they possess and only they can express. But I think many people don't have the opportunity to live to their fullest potential and after too long will lose the ability, regardless of opportunity. "woe to those who know too much" is one of the truest things I know. o no now know
No, just about everyone goes through a period of asking the same questions, and often coming to the same conclusions. It occurs so regularly as to be part of the intellectual/emotional development of the human. All teens go through a period of being aware of the larger world picture and questioning it. Some respond with rebellious behavior, some with rigid conformity and many with a sense of bewilderment and vagueness as you have expressed. It is part of maturing, and as such different people will react differently and manifest different end results, but I can absolutely guarantee you that you are very far from being alone in your experiences and resultant emotions. Hell, feeling as if you are the only one in the world "going through this" is almost a prerequisite for teen/early adult angst. I'm not saying that to belittle you, rather to encourage. Your fine, just meandering a bit like we all have done, are doing or will do. It's all ultimately good. As I've said before, life is a grand play in which we are all actors and audience. Just because you know the sets are cardboard and paper mache' doesn't mean you can't enjoy the show. :sunny:
I was simply pointing out that there are many different types of tests and that results can vary greatly depending on the nature of the testing.
Intelligence is only one of many factors that influence success. Alone, it isn't enough. Around people who don't value it, it can actually get you in trouble.
99th percentile is like 130. People overdo their lies. Same with bench press. Average man prob benches around 150 but everyone on the net has a 180 iq and benches 400lbs
I agree however Im really not a bragger. My professor did tell me there could be some inaccuracy due to the fact people with IQ's over 140 should be taking a high range IQ test. Dont really care if you believe me i suppose doesnt make a difference. and for the record i bench 450. Is 150 lbs really the average lol? I thought i weak lol i would guess i actually bench like 160-170 i havnt lifted any weights in a few years though and most i ever lifted was like 185 if i remember right
Depends on your definition of success. Good career and lots of money is in my opinion more to do with your personality than intelligence. I know plenty of people truly lacking in natural intelligence who worked their ass off through college or work to be successful. I also know people i consider very intelligent who couldn't give a shit about what most people would call successful.
