This is my friend Nicole... she was the inspiration for my dreads... I loved her dreadies so much...alas..she cut them a few years ago when she came home from taiwan. she's still beautiful though!

Ah beautiful picture, loving her dreads in this they look so pretty, cant wait till I can knot mine up high like this.

Unfortunately I cut them off a few years ago... But I´ve started to grow some new ones, no pics yet..

Thank you But the new ones will be so much better. The dreads you can see at the pics are made by the rip n twist method. The new ones are created by themselves in the natural way.
I hade them for about 1,5 years before I cut them off. I really don´t know why I cut them off. But I went through a hard time in life and needed to leave many things behind me. I guess the cutting was a part of a cleaning process..

 

This thread has brought me to my knees. Mind blown.

 

I feel the same! I can sit for hours and just watching and watching.. So amazing dreads!
