carbon dioxide is poisonous but its always in our lungs anyway so unless you sit there in a close space inhaling the gas coming out of a flame, youre not in any real danger

co is more poisonous but theres not nearrrrly as much as what comes out of the burning of the actual plant matter. that stuff gives off lots of other nasty stuff

Unless you were like in a room with barely any oxygen, because with oxygen as a limited reagent it would most likely start producing carbon monoxide and you'd probably die... if you didn't already from the lack of oxygen... man I'm baked.
