ummm is it just me..or do they look..fake from day 1 on? even at 5 months theres none of the usual characteristics that make dreads unique can i ask what methods she uses? im not sayin they dont look good but i think they look too ...perfect? unreal?
They do look good. I'd prefer ones that looked a bit more natural though. I think ones that are very unique have so much character. Those just look so homogeneous. They do look good though.
iunno...they do look good to the eye, but...the totally unnatural part kills it for me, sounds like something for people that are chasing the looks, not the freedom and the journey.
Well I think they look awesome, but I wouldn't want them for myself. What I loved about my journey was them changing so much.
They do look "perfect". But is this just a mental thing? People are saying they look appear "fake" because you've told us they're only 5 months old. If you posted it and said "this chicks dreads are 6 years old, what do you guys think?"... I reckon you'd have some totally different responses. However, I do agree that lumps and bends in dreads make them more personal and give them more character. Personal choice. Theres not denying those dreads are eyecatching though.
There missing that element that make dreads dreads. I mean she has like 30 or 40 or whatever, identical dreads. Even down the the length, texture ( no bends,no strange individuality etc) width .... Even if she had it for 6 months, that doesnt change everything i said. Not saying the look bad, just too picture perfect for me
I'd have to agree, I mean isnt finding what you love about each lil dread part of what its all about?
i dont think they look fake, its just another way of making dreads. If she hasn`t used wax i think her way of making dreadlocks is pretty cool. i started my dreads kinda same way, i had my dreads lookin LIKE DREADS the first day i started them. Its just another way of making them like i said, the thing is they are maturing much faster and i guess thats why most of the people dont think of them as natural.
