Incense sticks

I actually prefer burning sprigs of white sage.

I usually burn Naga Champa, Mightnight, Lavender and other incense sticks that are made by people.

White Sage incense is lovely! It's very earthy!!

 

Sandalwood and naga champa are my favourites.

 

My favorites are divine flora by nandi and red box nag champa by shanthimalai.

and fast forward to 2019 and we have peewatcher.

 

The incense itself is the fragrance, the smoldering stick simply releases it.
For a good quality product, everything needs to be correct, The type of wood, the chemical impregnation that causes it to smolder and the incense itself.
Storage and keeping the sticks in an airtight packaging to prevent the incense from evaporating away before burning is also important.

 

Use to burn a lot. Gives me headaches.

Yeah.
He was an engineering professor from Germany, if I remember well.

Agar wood is among my favourites. The actual stuff, agar wood, is worth more than its weight in gold evidently.

I know, it intrigues me, actually.

 

I used to burn nag champa. They make a variety (nag champa)! I was reminded of nag champa the other day actually. The black one reminds me a little of this girl I was seeing circa 2005 or 6 (i can't be expected to remember this meaningless drivel!) and incidentally was the last girl I slept with. The blue one takes me back as well, but to a different time when I was living in Colorado for a few months and my buddy would burn it in our apartment.



The blue one is a little more common I think, but our local record store has both and more... I like the smell of incense, but these days I worry a little bit about inhaling the smoke from it in the air.

Never Going To Burn Incense Sticks Ever Again......Where I Lived Before I Must Have Burned

Thousands Of Them Over The 30 Years I Lived There......In Later Years I Found It A Nightmare

To Keep The House Dust Free......Then I Realised That All Hard Surfaces Had This Sticky Film

Over Them So Even Though I Went Around With A Feather Duster I Just Couldn't Remove

The Dust.......Now It's Obvious To Me That All That Smoke Was Carrying Small Particles Of Oil......

Nowadays I Just Use A "Straw Diffuser" And Although They Are Expensive...$10-00.....They Work

Perfectly........Before My Last Party I Hung One Under The Ducted Air-Cond Return Vent......

Then Set The Fan On Low And The Whole House Smelt Stunning.......Every Guest As They Came

Through The Door Remarked On The Smell........
