I found pachouli forest today. I was so excited, but my mom refused to let me buy them because she can't stand the smell. ): I also came across ones made in Mexico but couldn't read the Spanish packaging. Smelled good though.
Dude, I just found a utilitarian use for incense sticks. I needed to scrape the ashes out of my bubbler without dumping it all out. I couldn't for the life of me find a pokey thing. But I couldn't find a damn thing but a package of incense sticks. Oula Instant Pokey thing. I used the undipped end to scrape the ash out, then burned the stick. I believe it is a Nag Floral. Very nice. Stay Brown, Rev J
I love Nag Champa too. It's usually the only one I buy. But last time I bought some called Sandalo, it says they are from "JaiGopal Collection", also made in India. They're good, though not as good as Nag Champa...
As I mentioned way back at the beginning of this post, Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa is the most popular incense in the world... or so they claim. I would say that popular opinion here on the board would bear that out.
Indeed... and I am happily sniffing that wonderful fragrance as I'm writing this, burning one of them right now. I get my Nag Champa sticks from a mail-order place in East Germany called Akash, offering a large pack (12 15-gram-packs in a box) for € 20.00 (approx. $ 27.00) plus shipping... that lasts a few months. Flea markets sometimes have vendors that sell real good incense. I last bought Patchouli and Opium scents, real good stuff. And a custom-made bottle for a holder, with a hole on the side, near the top. It has other uses also
