Well, the day has finally arrived. I am still a bit in shock that it is happening.

It's what a country gets when a big amount of its people vote for change (no matter what change) and another big part doesn't vote at all.

 

There was a good joke going around last night. It said, "Don't forget to put your clocks back 300 years tonight".

 

and don't forget....more than half of the population voted for Hillary....the popular vote.

 

Yeah, the population had no good choices left at the end anyway. Good point

edit: ideally the majority would have gotten themselves informed like a half year earlier. Or a big minority at least. If another big part doesn't vote anyway that could have made already the difference.

edit: spelling (would have gotten informed themselves.. is that correct? or is it got in this case. Man )

 

Many of the Dems wanted bernie (I was one of them, also)and did not get up in time off the boxing ring floor and stop being sour grapes to vote for Hillary....which would have been a helluva better pick than Trump.....and then there were those who kept casting doubt on Hillary and sabotaging the entire process...People could not get their heads straight in time. Some of us did, though...more than half of the US population did.

 

I am enjoying a large glass of liberal tears.

I think we are in for a fun time. Its far better to watch this circus from the other side of the ocean. How can americans have fun with this when it will (most likely ) only have negative consequences in reality? Watching political comedy every evening doesn't compensate that.

 

People are shitting a collective brick about Trump. I'm curious to see how it will all play out. There are marches and protests and so much dissent. I'm honestly taken aback at how anti-establishment it all seems.

 

It would be funny, but Trump is dangerous to many things...including the environment, womens' rights and on and on...Did you read on MeAgain's thread what he is already planning to do to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, which people have worked their entire lives for. That is not funny to many people. I cannot laugh in good consciousness at this otherwise IDIOT!

Yeah I had that in mind when I saw PR's post and made my reaction to morrow. It is only fun if you're not living in America.

 

I hope Trump is a bit of a hippy underneath all that...dickheadeness.
