    One car for two people.

    No television or cable.

We cook all meals at home; except when the Grands are playing ball. Then we take food to the ballpark.

I'm sure there are other ways but I'll have to think a bit.

I like Karl Marx's dictum of "Each according to his need".My needs are relatively small and I try to live by this edict.I'm not obsessed by owning stuff for its own sake.My most expensive possessions are my music gear.

yeah but arent you legally married?...and have a house....

i dont have anyone they could legally go after if i die...i dont own real estate...even my cash is kept at home i dont keep anything in the bank (except just enough to cover the minimum payments each month )...at worst they could take my car...and wont recoup much out of it.....and the trucks arent worth much more than scrap value

i guess im more minimalist than i first thought

    I'm engaged. :)

I'm not a minimalist at all. I'm materialistic. I need stuff even if I don't need it at all. I like surrounding myself with stuff I enjoy. I like buying something just for the sake of it.

I used to know a man who was happy all the time if I needed some help he'd give me his last dime but I'm a child of the time and that don't work for me cause when I walk into the store I want everything I see.

That's purely materialistic. :D I need the covers. That's it. I won't listen to the "cd". But I damn well need the covers for my collection.

I only do this because iTunes won't recognize my music library and I ain't spending the hours to edit it, so I've been buying iTunes music. But I still need those covers from my favorite bands. =p

I actually buy records also while I listen to the mp3 more often ;) As a dutchman i hate to pay twice for the same thing. Its a commonly known cultural trait. I learned to embrace it :p

As a non-dutchman, I can confirm this. Literally nothing makes me happier than paying double the price of something. You guys are weird.

I will spin the vinyl at least once though. I might even spin the cd once too but most probably not because it's just easier to plug my phone into a jack chord and away it plays.

But inside the CDs I'm thinking about buying a record label trading cards so, yeah. :D that is pretty cool. And some have been signed and you could be lucky enough to get one of them. :)

They were bringing out cassette tapes too. :D
