Which religious ideals do you agree with?

Which do you think are on the right path?

Where do you think they went wrong?

Which religious ideals do you agree with? none. except... in the baha'i faith which states:
Which do you think are on the right path? perhaps buddhism. also perhaps baha'i... only if i had to choose.

Where do you think they went wrong? in believing that a god exists and basing their system of beliefs upon this said "god". AND creating a system of beliefs that every member must adhere to. i think you own your own beliefs and i think its foolish and naive to be a part of a religious belief system... i think the answers to any spiritual questions that you ask are only to be found within yourself. i thinks its foolish and naive to look to external forces to answer spiritual questions.

All religions had their Zen at some point.

I think Xianity lost it with Paul.
    Hinduism with the Caste system.
I think Buddhism is pretty much buzzing but I think that some of the stricter schools took a lot of the Zen away.
Jews, I think, seem to have a lot of it, even though the teachings are a bit iffy for my liking.
Taoism lost it with Tao Jio.

I reckon any practice that bring people any closer to enlightenment is a good practice. Be it theistic or not. Some people may need the concept of God to get through many barriars, and if that is the case then all the more power to them.

    Blessings

I like the idea in buddism and wiccan that you shouldn't 'hurt yourself or hurt others'. So simple. It covers pretty much everything to me. :)

    What you call enlightenment.
    Occam calls understanding.
    A questioned answered by illumination.
    IS the illumination a method
    or an internal state?
    We ALL can have such.
    Occam suggests,,through imaginative questioning.
    Others..
Occam and millions of others here and all over walk this path.
    Understanding and wisdom.
    A worthy goal.
    Why?

    Why not?

    The truth may hurt.
    But ignorance kills.

    And it's fun

    Occam
