In a week and a half

Wow, Meli, that sounds really awesome! But are those beaches surfable? I mean, I don't know about you, but in that picture, I'm not seeing too many waves.

it might be possible that i can fit in a large suitcase. remember that when packing

ocean swimming is harder than pool swimming, if you get ocean swimming down, youre set for life.

i can only somewhat swim.. which is why my parents didnt let me get a surf board and lessons when i was in san diego. which was LAME cause my friends uncle was going to give them to me (and her) for free...

Surf lessons are REALLY expensive.

When I planned on going to Cali last summer I was going to take lessons, but they were INSANE!!!! I'll learn on my own for that price!

 

why didnt you go to calif? and where were you going to go?

 

I didn't go because my friend backed out me at the last minute ... and the gas prices were to high for me to go alone!

We were going to drive into San Diego and then spend a night in Tijuana and then head up the coast to SanFran.

It would have been an AMAZING trip ... had my friend not been such an ass and backed out a week before we were supposed to leave.

 

aw. both my homes in one trip its a nice drive too.

though why people go to tijuana is beyond me (remember: i moved away when i was 14, so i didnt drink yet) its really depressing there. but san diego is amazing. and random places throughout the state. and of course san fran is the best thing ever.
if you ever plan on doing it again, let me know and i'll make some pointers on a few places to go see

My friend backed out at the last minute!

We were gonna go all the way up the coast from San Diego to San Fran .. Then head inland up coast. It would have been an amazing trip.

actually alot of people go there to surf.even the locals not all beaches are that calm.i guess it varies with each island.i can find a pic for ya...that's in Sal
