i jus saw Tony Blair talk live from G8... he looked pretty shaken up.
He said there's no question we're seeing organised terrorist attacks on London.

Beats what GW said a couple of years ago about "an apparent terrorist attack" and somethign about "those folks that did this".

Heard that the news from London is all over CNN. Must be the first time CNN have shown anything that isn't about America.

    Hadith 1:387
    Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

    you dont understand the motivation

They would claim it, though, wouldn't they?

I blame the government myself. All these anti-terrorist measures making things worse, making terrorists feel important and effective and doing nothing to tackle the root of the problem, only scratching at the symptom. The government should have been working with the muslim community and improving relations there and helping our local islamic leaders speak out against the terrorists and actually giving them a fair amount of media attention instead of just guarding against attacks which invites people to attack and test our security measures of which we're so bloody proud.

We should put a stop to the ID cards first of all. We want to be making our non-white communities to feel MORE at home and integrated and not be checking up on everyone to make sure they're all ok.

But of course after this the government will go and implement even bigger security measures and then go on about feeling even safer. Which is just asking for MORE trouble.

in what way would you suggest the government should improve relations with islamic leaders.

The lord mayor of london has been giving red carpet treatment to a leader that wants to kill homosexuals (go on peter tatchells site) ....the government have brought in a blasphemy law by the back door that would be used to target critics of islam .

They have allowed a couple of thousand mosques to be built in this country which preach hatred of non muslims, they have allowed millions of muslims to come to live in this country.

They allowed muslims to drive salman rushdie into hiding the police arrested at least 150 people for that and then let them all go because of political pressure .

I personally know about 7 people living in hiding in the uk from islamic groups.

and of one man who had to apply for asylum to america because he made secret films of what was happening in mosques in london, got death threats and the police said they would do nothing to protect him just investigate when he was killed .

would you make a film or write a book that upset muslims ......where is your freedom of speech

I'm suggesting that the government are part of the problem.

I'm insinuating that they casued the formation of al queda through wankerish foreign policy.

I'm suggesting that this country needs a total regime change ... not just an election but a total fucking overhaul of the whole system starting with the forced removal of the royal family, the upper classes, the rulers and the greedy and exploitative rich twats who we are constantly expected to defend.

but then I'm also a bit of an extremist ;)

I heard that also, i think in a bit BBC monitoring will have translated it... i assume we watched the same bulletin.
Imho Al Quada has 'supporters' who have never met OBL . I think Dok' can explain the concept of how a 'group' like ALF can first have a few people starting the 'cause' and then it mushrooms into others taking on the moniker of said group and then EVERYTHING is atributed to them, that falls under the loose reference of the ideals of the few twisted idologies of the few people that started it all. Sorry for being complicated, i got in trouble (with him) when i mentioned 'groups' 'organisations' etc .

If any of the terrorists that carried out these attacks were in anyway sane , then they would be sitting down and talking with the people that they attack. They don't realy wish to be reasonable/diplomatic or anything like that. Keep blaming the goverment and you continue to perpetuate the myth that 'it is all our fault'.
