IMPORTANT - Don't go into London today if you don't have to

I'm 10 minutes from Aldgate and Liverpool Street and 25-40 minutes from the other bomb sites ... I also know people working in A&E so am getting more information than many other people, including a suppressed story about a suicide bomber being shot by marksmen at Canary Wharf (5 minutes from me).

I'm a little bit raw from all of this ... If I lashed out at anyone I apologise for being inappropriate.

 

No... thanks for pointing out that, once dead, you stay dead forever... I'm sure there are people who will find that thought a comfort in these times... excuse my sarcasm, but it can be very easy to twist the meaning of what people sometimes say and this only serves to inflame tempers and touchy emotions...

The question here is how people will interpret your posts... if emotions are inflamed, people are more likely to interpret comments in a less rational and more reactive manner... this is quickly developing into a "I said - you said" series of increasingly emotive responses... and there is a danger that somebody will evetually respond in such a manner as to get thems elves banned for breaking the forum guidelines...

I'm not asking you not to discuss these isuues... I'm asking you to allow a breathing space... and I'm asking everybody to think carefully about what they post... is that really asking too much?
