I am gonna have to agree. Its just... it was so easy to find threads on the old forum. see who is online etc... this one seems a bit more complicated. It might just take some getting used to though.

I circled the Quick Navigation in green

 

You can see who's online and who's in chat by going to the home page and going all the way to the bottom.

random thoughts has been "dead" for the better part of 20 years if not longer. it keeps limping along though, and that is good. once in a while it even serves a useful propose.
because it is still possible to mention things that aren't limited to sex, war, money, excitement or trying to impress anyone.
even if invariably, one idiot or another, will try to turn everything into one of them.

there are those who maintain as an excuse:"its not the sixtys, its not the sixtys".
curious that. i was born 12 years before 1960, and i'm sorry, but i have not seen the universe change.
only different worlds making the same bullshit excuses for aggressiveness and its dominance which is still tyranny.

 

So it is not dead, merely aging

 

or resurected like a zombie? it aged in reverse a long time ago. perhaps this birth will grow into something good. i always look for that possibility to be there.

i'm guessing op's thread response rate is part of the deadness.....

people....such as myself.....have dismissed much of the ''don't believe anything you havnt witnessed'' scare bullshit and have learned to just pass on those threads to save blood pressure

I would also like to point out that the stoners lounge goes through a thousand post chat almost every other week.....we are strong over there even if our numbers have dwindled a bit

it is midsummer.....people are outside and doing outside stuff.....come October the students will be back....the travellers will be back.....the growers will be back...i'll be back......

I will bet pr will still be here too....as much as I disagree with him I do enjoy reading his outlook

on the new forum....the new features are so much better and faster than the old outdated software......all it takes is a few emails to skip and he is happy to make any adjustments within his ability..or the softwares ability

 

well i'm not a stoner. i find no gratification in emparing my judgement. i dream wierd creative dreams just fine without chemical assistance. and i'm a lot less interested in how many post or how often, then in how much people think about what they say, and what kind of world all of us are always creating. i wish you fun over there. and i'm glad you're having it. just isn't my idea of doing so.
