Impeachment Is Unwarranted

  1. Speaking of peaches, Maxine is "afraid" that Trump will meet with Putin.

But she conveniently forgets that, it's what presidents do:

1999 Clinton meets with Putin at G8 for a closed door session
2000 Clinton and Putin in Moscow
2001 Putin and Bush meet twice, in Slovenia and later at the Crawford Ranch
2007 Putin and Bush in Kennebunkport Maine
2009 Putin and Obama in Moscow
2013 Putin and Obama in N. Ireland
2014 Putin and Obama at Normandy
2015 Putin Obama in NYC for 3 days of talks
2017 Obama Putin in Lima Peru

Gee, that Putin seems like a really scary fella for ALL that presidential attention.

Of course, it's only "evil" when Trump does it.

    Lol

It's pretty obvious she didn't conveniently forget that list of encounters you compiled there. She sees more reason to be scared about Trump meeting with Putin than when those other american presidents did. I don't know why I'm typing this out. I mean do really think you made a good point there??

    Oh right.
They also had secret meetings alone with Putin that weren't recorded by anyone.

See the difference is we know what was said in all those meetings. Know why? We have written records!

    Then we have Trump:
And that's all I'm looking up for now.

    Sad.

  7. It must be amazing to actually buy into this whole game. I can't imagine being so establishment, so utterly owned. How amazingly "progressive".

So you have access to the records of Trump's meetings with Putin?

    That's great!
Please share what was said between the two, and list sources, dates, locations, who was in the room, etc.

And also true. Every statement Trump makes, every step that he takes, Trump follows Putin's lead. That pee pee tape must by dynamite!

  11. Since I don't buy into all the Trump/Russia nonsense, what possible need would I have for details of the conversations of world leaders? Seriously, how can you possibly think anyone below 7 figures is getting actual records of any of their meetings? I sure don't. Otherwise we might have known what was in the ACA before it was shoved into law.

So far I see more efforts to "ruin the country" applied from the left more often and effectively than from the right. Not that the right is blameless, they just know how to scurry when the kitchen light comes on. It's beyond me how anyone can favor one side or the other, leastwise in these forums.

    Must be my "boomer" thinking.

The content of Trump and Putin conversation is the property of the United States of America and all its people. We have a right to know what was said and what was promised on behalf of our country, regardless of what you think or who may refuse to understand it.

  14. Can see why Trump got impeached.
But we will have to see what the Senate say about his behaviour.

We know that already. Moscow Mitch and Lindsay Graham have their minds made up already, and most of the Repubs seem to be falling in line. As Trump said, he could shoot somebody in the middle of Fifth Avenue.

No need to buy into anything. All you need is to accept the facts, but you don't. You seem to rather believe Putin's lies than the entire Western world.

Seriously, yes, I believe past presidents had records of their meetings..in fact..., I seem to recall Nixon had a few.

The ACA? Maybe you didn't know what was in it, but everybody else did.

You see more efforts to "ruin the country" applied from the left because that's what where you look, almost to an exclusion.

    Why would I deny facts?
Why not provide the information and then we'll see?

  19. Or because I haven't sold my soul to either side. If you believe one side of this utterly, you're just a common fanatic. If you can't possibly see anything wrong with the politicians in "your" party, something is wrong with you. They are doing exactly what everyone expects them to do.

Again, it's weird to meet "establishment hippies" these days.

  20. I've never seen anything publicly acknowledged as an effort to ruin the country. What ruins a country is when people don't participate, and instead the highest bidder oversees the laws. Republicans call being sold out to corporations healthy capitalism. While the people suppose it's a good sign that someone's getting filthy rich.
A good country is supposed to produce filthy rich people, is it not? And the poor are there for laughs.

The Republican party is the real farce.
