They are the backbone of this country. No one else will do the dirty work.

First there were slaves, then there were Mexicans. It's as simple as that.

They lie and steal? You are one hateful person.

People like you, who think that they are supperior that others make this world the shitty place that it is.

 

If they don't pay taxes, then they need to be taken out of the country. I work a great deal so I can pay for school, and still have trouble making ends meet, yet my taxes pay for the children of illegal immigrants to go to state college for FREE. My health insurance (don't even ASK how much I have to pay my parents so I can stay on it now) hasn't covered ONE FUCKING CLAIM since I've been on it, but MY TAXES pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants. I'm (all of us that pay taxes, actually) footing the bill for these people to use hospitals, schools, clinics, roads, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

We need MAJOR reform in this area IMO, until then send them all home.

edit: And for the record, I'm no hick, I'm from one of the most liberal places in the country, and (besides this issue) I'm one of the most socially liberal people you will ever meet.

 

i live in canada so i can't really see the problem like the americans do. however, i do know that immigrants here are by far the friendliest people i've ever talked with, and they take nothing for granted because of where they come from. also isn't the resident of the country entitled to the job before the immigrant? cause that's what i've learnt, tho it mite be different in the US.

i work construction,the myth that they drive wages down is just that.they make damn good money as do i because they work hard for it.

the reality is that your average american isnt willing to work hard for his money..
truth be told, if your average american wasnt a spoiled lazy no work ethic entitlement mentalitied crybaby,,there would be no need for illegal labor.

there was a time in america that the teenagers did all the field work,thats the whole reason american schools have summer break. yeah try gettin a 16 year old to pick crops all day,,never mind the average migrant worker makes between 700 and 1200 a week.. sure thats 12 hour days,so what,its good fuckin money for a unskilled job.. but can ya get a american teen to do it nowadays?? exactly...

personally i have no problem with the hispanics,in fact id rather live next to them than your average middle class american family any day..

 

you cant blame them.. the blame rests solely on the government of this country. they make the laws,they set the system up the way it is,they are to blame..

the immigrants are just taking advantage of whats available to them, no different than anyone else would in the same situation..

the comment about sending them back till its fixed is irrational and impractical.. this country couldnt function without them...

for the record, they do pay taxes both federal an state,maybe not income but they pay tax on vehicles,fuel,on clothes,etc. many illegals purchase homes here and pay property tax as well. the ones with green cards pay everything you do out of your check only difference is they claim 8 or 9 Dependants..

so dont be so naive as to think they pay NO taxes.. an just outta curiosity,how much do you actually pay in federal income tax? just federal tax,nothing else,, my guess is not near as much as you think.. ssi is the biggest chunk out of your check, an aint none of us gonna see that shit...

 

this country was founded on immigration, you and everyone here has a ancestor who was an IMMIGRANT.

I'm not superior to anyone.. I observe life.. I observe mexicans being dirty people who do steal and lie. I worked in a situation where I had to deal with mexicans, jamacians, and other immigrates who come over here in the summer for farming. Because it's cheap dirty labor that white men don't want to do. They stole everytime they came into the store, and they didn't care. I would call them on it, and they would make a big scene! And you know what?? I was constantly warned as a young child to not go near their housing units since we lived down the street from the tobacco farms. My friend's houses were broken into numerous times. A man down the road was recently shot and almost killed by a migrant farm worker who broke into his out at lunch time to find him at home. So don't you dare tell me that I am a hateful person. And why don't you just leave me alone.. It seems that every post you make is to prove somebody else wrong, and to sound better than them. So how about if you go back to where you came from, and stop calling me names.

Why don't you try to come up with some real life evidence instead of just what you hear and see in a movie..

 

And one more thing: To everyone else besides this brave sir rueben.

The mexicans do have one thing down.. And that's mexican food. I LOVE mexican food more than any other. And without them slaving in the mexican kitchens there wouldn't be any authentic food around here so I do thank them for that.

I work with Mexicans. I have worked construction, landscaping, and currently work in a greenhouse. I know more about blue collar work than your spoiled ass ever will. Who are you to judge these people? Who are you to call them thieves?

Everyone can, but I'm not a bad person. I was just pointing out to him what life experience I've had to come to that conclusion. Of course I don't think of them all this way, but you have to admit. They are slowly taking over. Part of my family lives in Las Vegas, and they say that over the past couple of years the mexicans are taking over EVERYTHING. And you can't go in a casino over there without the huge mexican families surrounding you. I know cause I just went to vegas a couple years ago.

I'm just saying it like it is, and if that's generalizing than oh well. Cause that's how it really is in this world.
