Imam suspended after discovering bride is a man

A Ugandan imam was shocked to learn his new wife was actually a man after “she” was caught stealing a television from a neighbour.

Sheik Mohammed Mutumba, 27, who has since been suspended from his duties as a mosque cleric, became suspicious four days into his marriage when his wife wouldn’t “undress while they slept”.

The truth came out shortly after when police turned up to the imam’s home to search “Swabullah Nabukeera”, who was arrested on theft allegations.

The bride was searched by a female police officer for stealing a television and clothes before it was discovered she was, in fact, a man.

Sheik Mutumba said he thought he had married a woman in their traditional Islamic ceremony in December.

He claimed he hadn’t been intimate with his “wife” since the wedding because she told him she was menstruating.

After the arrest, the bride revealed to police his real name was Richard Tumushabe, according to local reports.

He posed as a woman so he could marry the imam and allegedly planned to steal his money.

Reminds me of a time many years ago at a club in my shy and insecure days. When I was hooking up with this long haired blonde girl who was very easy to talk to. She was the nicest woman ever. I bought her a round of drinks and she started running her legs against mine and kissed me on the cheek. But then I realized something was off. Long embarassing story short, it was a man and I had been catfished.

The same thing happened at the cinema where I worked in the mid 1960's. but it was not on the screen.

The usherette offered extra services to guys sitting in the back row and was quite well known in the area. Everything went fine until a guy liked her enough to get married.She took a weeks holiday and after attending her wedding, we went back to work and they went off on their honeymoon.

He had all female documentation, bank accounts and NI papers. During the 5 years that he worked for us, changed in the female staff rooms and went about his work, no one had ever suspected that he was not female.
He was from eastern Europe and started his fake life in the UK using a stolen passport.

The priest who married them at a full church wedding decided that it was time to retire. He disappeared back to eastern Europe without anyone knowing his true
identity and we had to find a new usherette.

The guy who married him also went a bit sheepish and found a new cinema for his afternoon entertainment.

Working in the film industry had it's fun moment, most of them not on the screen.
Perhaps mine was 15 years later, on the day that a pompous theater manager blew his top because I had allowed a girl into the projection rooms. I said that I was a bit embarrassed about asking her to leave and asked him to kick her out for me. He rose to the challenge, called me a wimp and barged into the projection rooms.
The look on his face was priceless when after a few seconds he realized that my assumed girlfriend was Susanna York, the star of the film that we were screening.
He never forgave me for that one,

 

Who the f*** is Susan York never heard of her but finish the story did you f***** in the projection room? Are you sure the queen wasn't in the audience too?

It is weird. I didn’t know that brides in Islam wore white wedding gowns and veils. Something is rotten in Denmark!

 

She is showing cleavage too... her shoulders etc and coming out of a mosque? Something isn’t adding up here

 

If only there was like a search engine, where you could type in "ugandan muslim wedding" to get to the truth, someone should invent that
