Some of these dark pieces in your posts here are really great. I never took you for liking the dark side of art before,. though...lol

I like it all....dark, light...happy, sad...Depends on the artist every time and how they get each emotion across....i also love art that gives you room to feel and imagine with it, also and be a part of it...instead of just telling one how to feel with no room for anything else and so on......

 

In paintings, I mostly prefer (Russian) realism, my favorite painters being Ilya Repin and Nikolai Ge. I'll later post a few paintings by them that I love.
I do like darker motifs though.

That being said, I'd never hang a Glenn Brady on my wall, no matter how much I like his work.
