Emmabug: I recommend reading up on surface piercings and piercing rejection(i found bodymod.org to be a great resource). they're finicky piercings, and it's good to know what it takes to make 'em last! good luck! =)

I've never been a big fan of surface piercings. Too many hacks using improper jewelry and even if they do, it's a 50/50 chance that they'll reject.

I have dermal implants, they healed super fast. I've never had problems with them.

I think fersure I won't get the surface piercings because of what I read, and of course my dear friends on here.

I just need the money and to do like 5000 crunches before I get them hahaha

i have the micro dermal implants on one side of my hip.. should be a pic in my album sumwer.. il try find it and il post it for ya... theyre only tiny... the hip is just a bit sensitive so it hurts a little gettin done... but its fine afterwards and they heal up pretty quick

i wouldn get the surfcae bars!! too high of a rejection rate!!

heres mine.. i went for 3 instead of the two... theyer a bit more expenisve than the surface bars.. but yano its worth it in the end!!!

The hip dermals look good I had 3 dermals between my cleavage, but unfortunately they didn't work out. All 3 rejected within a year; had one removed at the shop (which felt like ASS!), had to cut one out myself with a sterilized X-acto blade after my cat jumped out of my arms and caught his claw on the dermal and pulled it halfway out (the non-perforated "foot" of the jewelry that your skin doesn't heal around)... and the third.. is still there, hanging on by a few layers of epidermus because I haven't worked up the balls yet to cut it again. They've been nothing but a pain, always red and irritated, getting snagged on zippers and low cut necklines, and especially the shower loofah! Ouch! I will not be sad to see the last one go when I finally decide to man-up and slice my sternum again, or more preferably, if it falls out on its own.

I'll never get another microdermal again. I hope you have better luck with yours!

 

wow, thats too bad!!! i never really had trouble with mine, apart from he didn put one in enough and had to redo it...
you should just get it pulled out if its bothering you!!!... yes it hurts haha , but not for too long!!
but all mine are fine now thank god...

Yeah, boo ah well.. but yours look great, how long have you had them? Mine constantly had an irritated red "ring" around each one but yours just kinda look like you were born with them! hehe.. I think I can chalk up most of my bad experience to bad placement.. anyone bigger than a B cup who sleeps on their side should probably avoid getting anchors in their cleavage, if you catch my meaning (squish!) hehe

i got the middle one redone about two weeks ago i think?? no maybe three weeks ago?? and its already healed up..

yeah i think if you got them somewhere else theyd probly be ok?? like i dont even notice them on my hip , they dont get caught in my clothes or anything!

 

Ah, yours will be fine then.. I imagine you'd have started having problems with them by now if it was going to happen. But from the pic, they look healthy and healed, so you should be able to enjoy them until you're able to freak out your grand kids with them! haha although they'll probably have like, eye-implants or something by then and they'll think microdermals are square.
