I finally earned my jersey. After months of blood, tears, scrapes, rink rash, bruises, sprained ankle, and skating until my muscles collapse....I FINALLY have a jersey. I'm just so freaking elated, I had to share the news!

I've only done scrimmage. I'm on the team, just not on the roster. It's generally about a year before you're allowed in a sanctioned bout.

5150 (idk why they slanted the 1) is police code for crazy one on the loose.

 

And yeah, you absolutely have to earn your stripes. It's extremely dangerous for someone who isn't an expert to be in a bout.
