i've been hitting the bong, but ive also been drinking some rum (meyers dark...nothing special, but a lot more drinkable than that bacardi gold i got, and only slightly pricier)

also smoking a nice cigar right now, a flor de murias. not too great, but affordable and it was the only mild cigar in my humidor and i wanted something lighter for a change. bout to have a bit more rum and a bit more weed though

and i havent showered since i got off work, but i only got off work a little over an hour ago. i smell, but i dont think i smell too bad.

i find it odd....given ive got some open air or a nice ventilation system, i find the smell of good cigars and good pipe tobacco wonderful! its amazing to me that i am not allowed to smoke a good cigar somewhere like a bar or bowling alley, but folks can walk around all the time wearing so much cologne and perfume that i start coughing from several yards away.

i love coffee. but i havent had any since about 4 or so. had a double espresso...yumm

 

Used to work in two diff coffee shops. Loved that kinda job. Every morning I crave black coffee with a coupla sugars or i die in class. The Timmys line is always gigantic at school.

 

It was definitely good pot, and good coffee too although it was starbucks and I guess the coffee connoisseurs dont care much for that. And yeah as far as tobacco goes, pipe tobacco and good cigars smell the best. I smoked a blunt earlier which is as close as I come to a tobacco smoker

starbucks has some really good coffees, though i like a lot of other stuff, too. i like to try different places, and its wierd - some shops have good coffee and bad espresso, some places have good espresso and bad brewed coffee.

i work in a coffee shop, but i find a lot of people are too uptight about their coffee. hey, when i want pizza, i will get it from any number of places. there are some places that i like, some i dont, but i'm not stuck on one brand of anything except toothpaste.

coffee-snobs either tend to drink a lot of starbucks and similar coffee, or avoid starbucks like the plague based "on principal" or some unadmitted "principal." everyone loves to hate the big guy. granted starbucks has some bad coffees....lightnote....their houseblend...their french and italian roasts suck....

but their african coffees are usually great, the black apron coffees are usually great, too. so is their sulawesi. i've had a lot of it. most of it is decent, some is bad, a lot is really, really good. and everyone has different tastes.

everyone is so anti-starbucks it seems, or else those who like starbucks seem to like nothing else and wont try it. i dont really get it. its all in how a place roasts and makes their coffees, some do it well some dont, and some do it well but dont cater to EVERYONES tastes. personally i like plain espresso, but if i want brewed coffee i usually prefer a coffee press, as nothing tastes better for brewed coffee.

when it comes to starbucks, one of my faves is the arabian mocha sanani, which is grown in yemen. its what i get most often, along with their standard ethiopian coffee.

every once in a long time its kinda bad, bitter, not at all smooth. but usually its really fucking amazing, very full bodied, often with wine or berry underflavors. its really incredible if you get a good bag.

but i'd stay far away from the italian or french roasts. shit is foul

 

hah, yeah, black coffee is sans cream/milk/soymilk....you can definitely have black coffee with sugar or honey.

its wierd, i work in a coffee shop, i fucking love coffee, yet i dislike stimulants in general including caffeine and have cut WAY back and many days dont drink any coffee, and once in a while even just have decaf.

but anyways....coffee is good and shit. nothing better than really good, strong espresso sipped in between hits of some fucking good hashish....probably the best mid-afternoon treat known to man.
