1. The point was not a comparison of the effects of alcohol vs. marijuana on your brain activity, or in what capacity either affects driving ability. The point was one's ability to judge one's own level of mind alteration (since you don't like the word "intoxication"). Based on personal experiences with each, and on experiences of dealing with people using each, I have absolutely no evidence to counter my claim that a person's own judgment of how impaired s/he thinks they are is not usually an accurate barometer of how impaired their motor skills and reaction time actually are.

2. Sure, alcohol is a mind numbing drug, so let's not drive on that... But LSD is a mind expanding drug (releases a flood of seratonin, thereby increasing brain activity)! Does that mean it's ok to drive even if you're spun off your fucking head? I mean, if it's ok to drive when using a mind expanding drug....

Putting other people's lives in danger is ridiculous and stupid. Driving while drunk or high is stupid. So is driving while on your cell or putting on make up, or driving while you're incredibly ill and unable to really deal with reality. Just because a handful of people feel that they are capable of driving while high (and may very well be) doesn't mean the law should be changed for everyone. You can't make exceptions for individuals to the law, not when so many people ARE not safe drivers when high. Kudos to you for being able to drive while high. Don't be on the streets while I'm out mmk? You may feel safe behind the wheel, but I don't feel safe with someone who's high or drunk out on the streets.

I live in laughlintown, which is a shitty little place pretty close to johnstown. the only reason people know where my place is is because there is this kick ass bakery right beside me that makes all this really good shit. Its no wonder I gain so much weight in the winter time.
