I'm probably getting evicted

    We were gunning for one months rent if we feel we really have to go. Now, I'm feeling a little greedy and two months sounds a lot better. Of course, I know this woman doesn't have two nickels to rub together.

    People with equity can always come up with money.

    The fact that your landlord is a shitty businesswoman and stupid (if she wasn't stupid, she would have rented it out month-to-month rather than a one-year lease when she might have to ask the tenants to leave) isn't your problem. Don't suffer for her mistakes.
