if you seriously want to quit, tell your mom you've been sneaking some of her smokes and that you'd appreciate if she didnt leave them laying where you'd be tempted to take one cause you really dont want to get drawn any further into the addiction. she may be kinda shocked/pissed when you tell her, but she'll understand and be thankful for your honesty i bet. then you wont have any smokes around to taunt you.

I was in the exact same situation as you and I would do the exact samething as you did. I quit cause everytime I smoked I get dizzy cause i inhaled to much. And on day after i turned vegitarian I had a smoke and I felt like ass...like i felt hot but I wasnt and I had to lay down cause I couldnt walk. Thats what made me quit it was to werid to smoke...But everytime i saw one I wanted one anyway, but honestly I think its will power, and keeping busy. good luck

Suggest that your mom hide her cigarettes somewhere you wont find them. My brother quit by eating candy or regular gum everytime he wanted one. After a while he didnt want them anymore.

Quiting is all a matter of willpower and motivation. I smoked for 10 years and quit 3 years ago and havn't had a single ciggerate since. My motivation was the death of my father due to lung cancer. He smoked for about 50 years. He died when my son was only a year old so theres no way my son will ever know him. which is too bad because my dad was my best friend. Thats when I decided to quit, so as not to rob my family of my presence in the future. You can't quit just for yourself, it's not enough motivation. It's better to quit for someone you love and care about, it keeps you focused. Also just plain old cussedness. It won't be easy, anything worth doing is never easy. It is afterall a real addiction, but if you want to quit bad enough you will, if not you won't. Also you'll never quit craving them completely, so get used to it.
