So I guess I'll go somewhere else tomorrow.

I just feel like getting out of my mind, man... because I'm certainly not in it as it is... uh, right now I'm sitting in front of the hotel smoking a friggin stogie and using someone's friggin righteous unsecured wi-fi line.

$19.00 a night... and free internet... you just can't beat it, man. Whoda thunk I could be staring at a 4000somethin foot mountain and watching youtube, a century ago.

I even have a neighbor with moonshine, willing to jam.

Northern West Virginia... near Romney, West Virginia, actually... about 30 minutes from the Delmarva area, but the mountain I'm facing is Spruce Knob.

I think I'm going to go fishing at my favorite campground in the whole world today... seeing as it's been a month. http://www.covecampground.com

But I kinda thought about going to the smokey mountains...

    I don't know. I don't really give a shit..

It's kinda like having an existential crisis without having an existential crisis... because I've always sorta held a transcendentalist p.o.v? I guess I'm just dialectical monism at it's best, eh? That or people have just pissed me off too much... or something.

Either way, reckon it won't change a hell of a lot, for me.

    That's where I'm headed, I figure.

I brought the laptop this time.

Back in the long stretch of loneliness
I have come to call a living,
I'm getting something for all this love's labor,
    even when I am forgetting.

Oh we oh oh little perennials
    where'd you come from?

Daughter of my father's second cousin,
loyalties, I got em by the dozen.
We share a past, we share a blood relation
and that's as good as an invitation.

Oh we oh oh little perennials
    where'd you come from?

I'm in the North Carolina Mountains,
just to the west of where I met my calling.
If you look south to the foothills of these mountains rising,
that's the place where it feels good falling.
That's the place that I know.

I look for words to fill the empty spaces,
all the life revealed in these back stages.
    I reach for names like little puzzle pieces;
    oh perennial, come to me.

Oh we oh oh little perennials
    where'd you come from?

    MoonjavaSeed Yeah, Toast!

    I'm a perennial. :D

Well... I left the house, don't know about that whole home deal, sometimes. I feel home is what you make it. Home is where the heart is.

Far as I know, that's in my chest.

And good lord, the more I watch that video, the more I think Ryan Adams & The Cardinals could merge with Phil Lesh & Friends and combine into "The Dead" rather than deal with Bobby. He sings so friggin much like Jer-bear... :D And the steel guitar reminds me of his pedal steel playing on Teach Your Children, with the Croz and such.

God, I love pedal steel. Most people can't play that shit with enough feeling. Don Helms is probably my favorite steel guitarist... played for Hank Sr.... along with Jon Graboff, for the cardinals... he also plays steel for Willie Nelson, but he's mostly a producer/session musician kinda deal.

    Yeah, it's not that far...

Of course, far for me would be more than twelve hours, though most Americans would consider that far. I guess I just love to drive things (guess it started out with tractors when I was little) and sail and shit, so I just like going on long trips. I can be in Jacksonville in five hours, from here... Asheville/Fayatteville, NC is sort of the midway point between where I live in VA and Florida.

    what's the haps in a-ville, hombre? :D

man, you know what'd make your night even better?

Well, it's just now getting to be season round these parts. Produce farmers usually get PA produce, sometimes Ontarian, though I reckon Chilean fruit is cheaper.

Don't know how that'd fare when you'd figure in fuel prices and shipping costs.

Either way, that's why I love my farmer's markets.

Actually, I come for the boiled nuts and samples :D Which is why I love Trader Joe's stores... all the free samples and they don't really say anything. I pretty much had myself lunch at Trader Joe's on the way to West Virginia, while I was round Manassas/Arlington, going through NoVa.

NoVa people do get weirder every day. Downtown Fred-Vegas is cool as shit, though.

    MoonjavaSeed Yeah, Toast!

    You're such a douche. :D

I was talking about the candy. Fuzzy Peaches.

Do they not have them there?!?!? :(

Oh fuck yes. :D Haha, I didn't think about it. Actually, I think there's a bass pro shops place around... I need to get some more arteficial grubs and spinners and all. They have all kindsa stuff like that.

Holy shit... one day I will fish Lake Okeechobee, FL. The other day I found a waterfront house with a boat slip on Okee for 198K... which is pretty ridiculous. I love Northern FL, but I'm not sure if I'll be headed there right now. I totally lost some cash on the way, today.

Wellll, I was talking to my dad on the phone about freestones and such... I guess my mind is stuck on it.

 Stawberry douche. If I had a douche manufacturing company, I would totally branch out with some different scents.

Yeah, Mike's a pretty dapper fellow.

I reckon that was just a strung out thought, the scents, but it hit me that they really should have some cool new awesome extreme!!! scents.

    Extreme cheddar  !!!!!111
  20. MoonjavaSeed

    MoonjavaSeed Yeah, Toast!

I really can't think of anything sane to say in response to that... :D
