After Reading This Thread, It Appears "Everything" Is Offensive To "Everybody"...... *proceeds to bang head against brick wall*....:banghead: Cheers Glen.
Fair Enough, So In Future When I Wish To Address Skyalmian I Will Just Holler, "Hey You"... Cheers Glen.
I've had women/girls/ladies/females correct me on every single possible word to call them. So fuck ya'll, I'll call you whatever I damn well please. I don't have time to be keeping track of every woman/girl/lady/female preference.
Once upon a time when Feminism existed, women preferred to be called Ms. There was even a magazine called Ms. In fact it still exists! Why don't you write them and tell them what you prefer to be called so they can now rename their magazine into something more politically correct for Gen X.
Old women are happy to be called girls. As in "hey how're you girls doin'? They love it. Obviously, young ones don't much like it.
my favorite is lady. i guess it wont be when i start feeling old. and since i look like i'm 15, i tend to give people the benefit of the doubt if they call me girl. And if i have a sweetheart, i'm his ol lady and he's ma boo. but honestly, i dont give a fuck. i'm a lady, i'm a girl, i'm a woman i'm a bitch, i'm a miss and a ma'am..
I'm a girl! Though it depends on the context. I like to be considered womanly and if a man sees me in that respect (and with respect!) then that's grand. But generally, my friends and I are girls. We are girls who go out, have fun and socialise. I like the innocence it holds, in the same way that I like being a 'miss'.
