yes, I saw the repeat too on tuesday night. I liked how arrested development reworked the los lonely boys's heaven. I cant even remember which song a flock of seagulls did........ anyways, their performance kinda sucked...... the beginning was cut off and that drum roll near the end of the song wasnt even there, plus mike score was the only original band member left.
well, howard jones went with his sappy hit..... he should have gone with a coldplay song instead of dido, personally. I still dont know how irene cara won.... I think it was all those women in the audience that voted for her.
Oh well, it's entertaining at least. I really loved Cameo way back when. I hope he doesn't suck too. I guess we can't blame them after like 20 years...especially if they don't stay in the music business full-time.
you should see what they do as their cover song....... I wont spoil it.... they really reworked it too..... I was suprised, it was pretty good....
ummm, no, all 5 bands perform twice and the audience chooses who the best one is out of the two performances.
I think the whole point of the cover song is to show that the hasbeen band is trying to fit into today's music scene.... and I guess the studio audience is voting based on who they think does?? I still havent quite figured that out.
That's funny. I wonder if Frankie Goes To Hollywood is going to make a comeback. I don't have cable so I can't 'enjoy' this show.
i just wanted to thank you mr. crappie for getting that damned song in my freakin head...............cant stop till you get enough...blah blah blah
nothing is wrong with it. i actually like it. i just cant seem to get it out of my head. its driving me nuts........
next week it looks like it will be the baha men, greg kihn, glass tiger, thelma houston and an artist to be named later.
Ewwww, next week's show sounds GAY. And excuse me, but tonight Irene Cara fucking sucked (as I have said of all the winners so far). Howard Jones and Cameo kicked ass. At least Howard Jones and Cameo are still doing the music thing and they look happy. That is all that matters. Irene Cara and Sophie B Hawkins looked and sounded fucking unstable. I almost forgot Wang Chung...they did well, I thought. Interesting choice for their cover song though...whoa. The background singer was good, haha.
