What's wrong with complaining about the country?

 

I'm going to start assing some kicks around here. And I'm also tired of sitting on my fucking nuts every time I get in my car. Ouch, tortilla chips! AKA sharp wedges of hardened corn meal.

I noticed a few bots are on the frey. Weird. Not complaining, just noticing. I'm just remarking about their existence.

 

Its summer in many places. Who wants to sit around the computer all day?

Too hot outside, 90-105 degree temps, 80% and above humidity.

 

Yikes. I forget how brutal the south is, sometimes. I live in New England and the summers are nice, for the most part. It's just the early spring and winter that are unbearable.

 

Some harsh winters up that way, no thanks

I've lived in Maine, New Hampshire, and Mass. And the summers have always been brutal.

 

I always thought Maine would be nice.
Nantucket too.

I would wear a lot of dark nautical blue and white and stripes and all that.

 

I went on vacation in Maine a few summers ago and thought the weather was absolutely fucking glorious. Then I flew home amd stepped out of the airport into 107 degree weather. It was the hottest day in recorded history for that particular day and location

I need to be one of those people who summers in Maine

 

I went on a vacation to Maine back in July and it was absolutely fucking glorious! I love Maine, especially the backwoods parts. In the town I visited, you can just barter for stuff that you want, and everything is farm to table. It's just the default up there--not something they advertise. The people are super self sufficient and it is a really tight-knit community where people actually give a shit about each other.

 

I guess it depends where in Maine you are. Twenty miles west (inland) of Portland it's a goddamn sauna from June-Sept. Days over 100 with 90% humidity aren't unheard of.

The New England coast is a different story though.

Now, of you really think you're badass try Maine in January...

 

Use to live in the south. I enjoyed their hot and humid summers. I'll take extreme heat over cold any day.

 

That's the problem. I hate the cold. Temps here dropped into the 50's last night and I was about ready to turn the heat on. I'm like a 90 year old woman. Give me 85 and sunny and I am in my absolute glory.
