I'm going to be homeless for a week this summer.

if you wanna get the experience of living on the streets and meeting all the people that are there and seeing all the things that go with it, take a long road trip with nowhere to be. go hang out in the places you think you wanna be, and then go back to your car, hopefully a van, drive somewhere safe, maybe set up a tent, or just recline the seat. that way you can have a cooler and a pantry and you can still take care of yourself pretty easily while still getting to experience an area.
