ive been here less than a full year, but already i feel like this is home and "home" is a place only to visit, not to live. from fourth grade until last august, i lived in the columbus area of ohio. it's nice enough, and alcohol is cheaper there. but all things considered, i think i'm happier here.
For a long time i didnt think i'd feel at home anywhere other than new york, but im now realizing im more adaptable, as long as ive got someone with me who im comfortable with and can have fun with. with the exception of maybe those flat tiny towns in the middle of america, because ive never lived in a place like that, and am pretty sure i'd hate it.
I used to drive to main street video in downtown schenectady back in the 90s to buy martial arts videos that weren't available locally :cheers2: It was a long drive but it was ultimately worth it Hotwater
Same, haha :cheers2: I haven't really felt like I had a home since the house I lived in from 10th grade to 12th grade... and I only liked it so much because my room was pretty big, noone was ever home, and there was a basement awesome for partying. (seperate entrance and everything) Now I live with my dad, but he's such a d-bag that it hardly feels like a home. I'd say New Jersey is my home state... but I was born in Florida and miss it from time to time.
