    Mmmm....a big bloody steak that would be so good. I'm cooking pork chops, creamy mashed potatoes, fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Yummy!

    Until I moved out of the PNW I never had okra or green tomatoes or hush puppies ect. Now living down here, I have had lots of it.

    grits are the staple of a good breakfast...i just filled 2 casserole dishes and im baking them at 350 for and hour:D

    That's so awesome! My dad never cooked when my parents were married. They've been divorced since I was 13, and he still rarely ever cooks for himself. He eats out most of the time.

    Grits=nasty, sorry Jerry. The rest sounds yummy, though. I'm a German-Yankee transplanted to the South-surrounded by the grits. Hell, even my daughters love that stuff. I'll cook it, but refuse to let it touch me lips.
