I used to be a Earth loving hippy but as of the last 24hrs I have decided to commit to creating more pollution. I am now a Pollutonianist.

I sat down last night and released the aerosol out of all of my paint cans and into the atmosphere. I even cried. Probably should have opened a window.

Does anybody know a good mechanic that can remove my catalytic converter?

I know a guy but you have to give him 50% of your carbon footprint.

No, but if you park on the street, I'm sure somebody will happily come along and remove at night while you're sleeping. Happened to a neighbor of mine.

You can gut it and leave it look like it has a cat or run a test pipe. If you have a 96' or newer you will have to plug your 02 sensor back in or get a CEL. Its alot easier and cheaper to put a pipe in and still pass smog tests. Cat con's are a joke and dont do shit but rob the motor of horse power.

On 96+, the 02 sensor downstream from the cat is what sets the cel. All that does is monitor the catalyst efficiency nothing to do with fuel control. But it compares the oxygen content with the front sensor and if it is the same, it will set a p0420/p0430. They make jumper harnesses to change the resistance in the wiring and trick the computer. And cats actually do a lot at converting hydocarbons and carbon monoxide to harmless gases.. and don't rob much power at all anymore they flow really efficiently.

But my play car has long tube headers and no cats haha :D

Open headers? CAN YOU STILL HEAR? LMFAO

On jeeps/MOPAR but not all, The downstream mainly monitors heat and the front does the A/F for the proper fuel like old TBI's and front only. But its mainly on jeeps that I have done this mod too. But never a CEL and always more power and mpg. 02 simulators don't last long off road lol.

Now newer cars/trucks, Yeah they started using larger exhaust that power, mpg etc is not affected with or with out them. But you can also get a different computer with a different tune and erase all the smog shit.

Don't forget to buy a whole bunch of disposable cleaning wipes, and make sure you flush them down the toilet.
Maybe you should pour some old paint down the sewer, for good measure.

    Much cheaper:2thumbsup:

It's also cheaper in the long run, you will get better milage.

AND you will have more power.

    Fuck the environment.

when doing hvac work, skip the recovery machine, and pulllin' a10Hg vacuum, just dump all that r-22 straight into the atmosphere....does carry a $10,000 fine tho if caught

Wouldn't you still have to pull a vacuum before putting the new refrigerant in? Lol you guys are dicks the epa is probably tracking you right now :smoking:

And roor this isn't 1975, converters don't rob gas milege like that. Most cars unless they are built aren't even going to benefit from reducing backpressure. The opposite will happen more often

So what, you charge from the low side with the compressor running?

And I always pull a deep vacuum, 15 min at least. But every day is humid here. I probably still would if I lived there too.
