The thing that I don't understand is that his first 4 years were terrible for the country, look at the jobs, the economy, the tax cuts for the rich and large corporations, the patriot act, the wars and slaughter of the innocents in the middle east.... i mean what good came out of those 4 years that anybody would want another 4?

I've honestly tried lookin at it from the a republican point of view...I can't for the life of me figure it out....

Neither can I. I just don't get it... other than they'd rather send people to fight over there so there won't be war here... kind of an unfair "Not in my backyard" attitude. But, then again, the US started it with Iraq so it makes no sense.. and afghanistan has just faded away.

The reason he won is because of his bs Christian "morals." What fucking morals?!?!?!?!?:!?!?!uhastkgasfdkltghASDGJY khbusd! fuck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sarlkj!!!!

god dammit!@!! i havent sat back and thought about this election until now!! asdkljfhsaktgj!!!!!! FUCK!!!!

FUCK RELIGION! FUCK YOU ALL! YOU FUCKING SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dsfAGJKDSRJKHA!!!fuck!

Yesterday morning I noticed that Bush won just about every non coastal state, except for a few mid west states. motherfucking....religion. religion will be the demise of our planet. asklfj;gdh!@!!!!!

People are so fucking stupid. We are truly living in an "information-deficit" age; people as a whole have never been so uninformed in the history of the planet. We may have access to more information then ever before, but the top 20 google search words all have to do with "sex". Luckily tho, a big majority of young people voted for Kerry. They will be older in 4 years, and there will be tons more of us. But will we even make it 4 more years?

    Barrack Obama 2008 :D

This "war" isn't on religion. Nothing Bush does is about relgion. It's about big business and economy. Everyone should know that.

I know that, but the reason Bush won is because of his Christian supporters.

I really believe that you can give FOX News and the other neo-conservative "news" networks credit for getting Bush re-elected. If people listened to NPR or used, say, the Drudge Report, for their news, I don't think that Bush would have won.

Polls were taken, and it was shown that a huge number of FOX viewers were totally uninformed about the War in Iraq, al-Queda, "terrorism," and the presidency. On the other hand, NPR listeners were much more highly informed.

    That's no coincidence.

To an extent, sure, but I put more blame on the extreme amount of misinformation out there for Americans to suck up.

You're right....but I think Bush won every single bible belt state because of his stance on gay marriage and abortion. If info slipped out that Bush and Cheney orchestrated the 9/11 attacks and if he publicly said "Fuck the poor" he would still have support over Kerry because of his "Christian" stances, and because, as many say, he was "chosen by God."

    Yeah, you're probably right.

As far as Cheney planning Sept. 11th, I picked up a copy of Michael Ruppert's Crossing the Rubicon yesterday. It's 600 pages of information on our government's involvement in the attacks. It's going to be a damn long read, but I'm excited about it.

That book's been out for a while hasnt it? None of the mainstream bookstores around here carry it, and the Waldenbooks here has started a "unofficial ban" of all books they consider "terroristic." Kinda scary, the shelves are stacked with Ann Coulter and they have pictures drawn by litle kids that deal with Michael Moore being lynched. I'm guessing the cool hippie lady got fired......poor America. I think we can officially say that this is the beginning of the end of whatever Free America we have left.

I think that it came out last month.

I was kind of surprised when I found a copy at Borders Books. They actually had a lot of books criticizing Bush/the government.

That's very scary though, having books "banned" like that. I'm telling you... FASCISM.

Heh, that reminds me. Today, in my government class, we watched Fahrenheit 9/11. Well, my class is full of Republicans/Bush supporters. These kids actually started whining and saying "Turn it off! I can't watch anymore of this! It's making me mad! It's just lies!"

    Pff, disgusting...
